If there ever was an artist that I would like to pay homage to, it is Frida Kahlo. She was amazing and her works life on. This auction is my personal homage to her and her work.
This shrine was handcrafted by myself. It's frame is constructed of cardboard and glass. It has been painted with numerous acrylic paints and adorned with gems, allure E-6000 paint, glue, glitter, flowers and a picture of Frida printed on handmade Mayan Huun paper made from the Sanservia plant in the Yuccatan. The picture was bought in Cozumel, Mexico in August 2017. It measures 6 x 4 x 1 inches.
